About this house sitting position in Rubyvale
Hey good people,
We would love some kind person(s) to keep our 2 bigish dogs, 30 quail, 10 hens, 1 rooster, 1- 2week old chicken (long story) with its mum, 50 Galahs, 75 Crested Pigeons and whatever else turns up for a free handout occasionally, company and fed.
Lydia has to go to Rockhampton for cataract surgery on 2 occasions. The first being 23/7 for meet and greet and then on the 31/7 for the surgery on the 1/8.
We are not sure how many nights we will be away, possibly 4 total.
The house is an old 1-bedroom miners' cottage that has had a lot of veranda added. There is a double bed on a closed in veranda but it's not very private.
It may suit you best to sleep in your van and use the house for everything else.
We are totally off grid as you can see by the photo of the battery bank, plenty of sun = plenty of power. Fortunately the water tanks are full at the moment.
A motorhome or small caravan would be best as there is not a lot of room to maneuver a big caravan.
Being nudist or nudist friendly would-be a plus but by no means essential. Having said that it is a bit cold isn't it. Read more...
