About this house sitting position in Reservoir

Townhouse in Reservoir with open kitchen/dining/living, study, central bathroom with bath and master bedroom with ensuite. Courtyard and carport out the back.

House is approximately a 5 minute walk from Ruthven Station (Mernda line into the city, approximately 35-40 mins to CBD by train) and close to Thomastown, Campbellfield (Sydney Road), and the M80/Ringroad. Northland is a 10 minute drive away, with Hoyts Cinema and shops, and Pentridge Cinema (Coburg) is also about 10 mins away. Close to cafes and bars in Reservoir, Preston, Thornbury. There’s a post office, burger joint and cafe up the road, as well as a reserve with ovals.

We have a small laundry with a washing machine and heat-pump dryer, and a smart TV with access to streaming apps like Netflix, Prime, and Disney +.

The house will also come with some furry friends - three cats (Simba, Luna, and Willow) and one small rabbit who lives in a hutch inside and often free-ranges. All animals are desexed and friendly, aged 8-10 years old. All are litter trained. Cats very affectionate; Luna is very quiet and skittish, Simba (her brother) is very friendly and affectionate but can also be a bit of a criminal, and Willow is something in between the two (loves her food!) Loras is a tiny Netherland Dwarf rabbit who is friendly but aloof. He has a bit of a high pitched snore when he’s relaxed.

We are two sisters in their early 30s who are going on holiday for 5 weeks and are keen to have someone trustworthy, clean and reliable make use of our house while babysitting our pets. Will provide further information and details to interested parties.

*Note that we do have two dogs (Finn, 11 y/o border collie, and Wren, 2 y/o papillon) who may appear in pics - they’re both lovely boys but we figured it may be a bit much to have them included in the house stay, so we’ll be finding alternative lodging for them, don’t worry! Read more...
