About this house sitting position in Ealand

Hi we are Dawn & Richard a couple on their fifties whose son lives in the Cayman Islands who we love to visit twice a year. We also love to travel in our motorhome and are looking for someone or someone’s to look after our 17 year old cat Gary and our feed our koi fish in our ponds.

Gary is a rescue cat that came to live with us two years ago at the age of 15 years, originally called Mr G, our first cat after having chow chows and standard poodles for 30 years, he’s adorable loves cuddles and is very vocal and loves a chat. Gary comes and go freely through his cat flap and goes to the toilet outside.

Gary is also a cat tester for the guide dogs society, we foster guide dogs on a regular basis. Gary although elderly has no health issues and having had blood tests this week for his check up, he was described by our vet as amazing for his age.

We live in Ealand in a 3 bed detached bungalow that we have just finished renovating, our plot is just under half an acre, with large gardens. The accommodation available to our sitter is a
bedroom with a king size bed and draw and wardrobe space with a lovely view over open fields.
There is a large bathroom with a bath and also a double waterfall shower cubicle, there is a large lounge with 65 inch tv, Netflix and sky.
An office with desk and two screens with fast broadband.
Conservatory with a tv over looking a large garden, two ponds
Large kitchen with Ninja coffee machine, air fryer, range cooker, bread maker and large american fridge/freezer
Utility room with washer,dryer
There is parking on our drive for three cars

Ealand is a rural village in North Lincolnshire approx two miles from junction 2 of the M180 with good links to the M18 and M62. There is Crowle train station within a 7 min walk. A local bus comes through the village every two hours. The nearest village Crowle is 1.5 miles away and has two pubs a wine bar, tea room, beautician’s, small Tesco and Co-Op, bakers, butchers, Green Grocers, florist and a few takeaways who will deliver. We are a 10 min walk from 7 lakes country park, where there are 10 lakes with some great birds and also a bar and restaurant.

We have some beautiful walks and also the greenway for cycling. Our cleaner comes in on a Thursday morning and we are happy for this to continue whilst we are away if the sitter is happy.
