About this house sitting position in BLACKHEATH
Lovely cosy Blue Mountains cottage, 3 bedrooms, separate study and pretty garden. 3 minutes drive/15 minutes walk to cafes, restaurants and pubs, close to beautiful lookouts and many bushwalks. One beautiful Border Collie/Poodle cross dog, 14 kgs, male, desexed - will be 14 months at time of this sit - to be cared for and walked twice daily (many dog-friendly walks nearby.) There are back up carers for dog available in case you want to make a day trip to city etc. Dog is gentle, very friendly and well-socialised but sitter/s must have recent experience with young dogs and fit enough to keep up his exercise routine. Secure fenced backyard and dog can be left alone for up to 6 hours, but only if he's had a long walk first. City is 2 hours away by train or car so this would not suit regular commuters . A current driver's licence is essential (either your own car or you can have the use of mine.) Quiet street and friendly neighbours. Minimal garden maintenance would be helpful (e.g. leaves raked and put in compost).
