About this house sitting position in MACLEOD

Hello! I have a lovely light filled newish home in the leafy suburb of Macleod. Home to Tiger, a spritely chatty catty who toilets outside and has a cat door.

It is on a quiet leafy side street less than 5 minutes walk to the Macleod train station and the Macleod shops - great cafes, local IGA supermarket which is well stocked. Lots of options for local walking too in nearby bush and parkland.

The home is very comfortable with air conditioning and ceiling fans, shade awnings. A nice sunny and shaded outdoor seating area and garden.

The garden is mostly natives, fairly dry tolerant but needs occasional watering in the peak of summer.

I have two great office desk setups, each with nice light and views, so great for a couple working remotely.

It is a two storey home, with the main bedroom and ensuite downstairs, away from the road.

Great neighbourhood - with lovely neighbours - one of whom is my elderly father who lives next door in separate property, and keeps to himself. Not much traffic noise and lots of birds!

I am looking for a house/cat sitter. I do tend to go away frequently so there may be opportunities for regular sitting.

Tiger is healthy and doesn’t have any particular requirements besides feeding twice daily and fresh water daily. She is friendly - not aloof, likes to chat and has so much fun when you throw her Mousey for her (she’ll occasionally knock it back to you for you to throw).

This home is not suitable for other pets - I don’t have secure fences.

There are spaces suitable for an older child, but those rooms are upstairs, and I do not have safety gates on the stairs so the home is not suitable for small children. Read more...
