About this house sitting position in COWES

Teddy & Maisie are both easy to look after and would love to meet you.

Cowes is a beautiful area with calm beaches in walking distance from our property. It is situated on Phillip Island which has heaps of natural attractions and well-serviced by supermarkets and other shops. Our contemporary home is very close to the golf course. It is a modern home with floorboards/rugs in living areas and carpets in bedrooms. It has a very private aspect with native garden & overlooks a Land For Wildlife property at rear - calming to watch the forest and its inhabitants. There is undercover decking at the back of the house. This is a very quiet, peaceful neighbourhood with walking trails around the lake.

We have 2 pet residents: 1 dog & 1 cat. The dog is Teddy a 12 year old poodle x, who is nervous but very loving once he accepts you. Teddy was a rescue dog originally. He is an inside dog and only goes outside for walks and short backyard explorations. He will sleep, most of the day & all night, on his rugbeds on the sofas.

Maisie the 15 year old cat is friendly, sassy and little trouble. Maisie is happy outside during the day within the boundary of our property and must be inside at night - local Shire law.

Both Teddy & Maisie are healthy, mature pets who are settled in their respective routines. They are easy to care for.

This is an excellent property with easy to mind mature pets in a secure setting. Our petsitters will need to be in residence for the duration of the petsit. The dog will stay inside when you leave the house. It is not possible to leave the pets overnight alone.

There is nothing to do except check the letterbox, and walk the dog - morning and/or early evening.

Note: the picture shows Maisie and chook friends - sadly our feathered girls have all passed. The sun lounge is Maisie's favourite place to sleep outside. We also feed wildbird seed to native birds on a daily basis; and we would love our petsitter(s) to continue this feed, if possible. All foods are supplied.

This house/petsit is mostly in the Victorian school holidays and includes the Easter holiday period. Our pets are mature and unused to children. Consequently, we prefer a single or couple to respond to this advertisement, and adhere to the no extra guests principle. We look forward to hearing from you. Read more...
