About this house sitting position in Geebung

Our home in Geebung is a comfortable low-set brick house. With air conditioning and fans in the main bedroom and in the large living and dining areas, it’s a lovely place to spend those hot Brisbane nights over December/January.

We have one beautiful cat called Poppy who is around 8 or 9 years old. We’re not quite sure as she came to us as a mature cat from the RSPCA a few years back. Poppy loves sleeping on comfy chairs and receiving scratches on her ears and under her chin. She’s a chatty cat, often greeting her favourite people with her version of hello or I’m hungry! Poppy’s water and dry food just need to be topped up every so often and once a day she needs to be fed her raw food. We’d prefer she didn’t spend too much time in the bedroom side of the house and if you’re going out, please ensure she can only access the kitchen/dining room area and of course her cat door should be open. Poppy does freely go outside but she sticks close to the house and you will find she far prefers to be inside.

The only other thing we need you to give a little bit of love to is the plants in the front garden and the potted ones in the front porch area. Every couple of days is more than enough and there is tank water to use, unless the tank is empty of course.

Our house is close to the train and bus and we are just a few minutes from the chermside shopping centre. Plenty of restaurants and the cinema there for you to enjoy.

There is off-street parking for two vehicles, one of these is undercover. Room for a caravan of needed. Read more...
