About this house sitting position in Jarrahdale
We have a large four bedroom two bathroom house on a one acre semi rural lot.
We purchased the house almost a year ago and have been working through renovations in that time.
The house has a brand new kitchen which is my pride and joy (until the next project ;)... ) and a fresh new guest room with queen bed and double wardrobe. This will be the room to use for your stay.
The living room has just completed its makeover, with comfortable seating and comfy carpet. There is a second seating area next the the fireplace, although I'm sure the house will still be more than warm enough during this time of the year.
Although we are on an acre we haven't had time to do much outside so it's just left to it own for now with no expectation of any maintenance.
We have a large covered alfresco with seating and a BBQ, you're welcome to use. It's a really nice area to watch the birds.
There is a shed but that will be locked and not accessible.
Our property backs onto the serpentine national park which is a treat.
I have a lot of indoor plants that will need a top up of water during your stay.
We also have a black and white 8 year old indoor cat.
Her name is Ollie and she hates being stuck inside however, our shire regulations do no allow her to be out and if she is, she can be seized without being returned to us, so it is of extreme importance that she is looked after and not let out.
We have neighbours on either side who both have rather large, but beautiful dogs so I would be mindful of how close arms and hands get to the boundary fence. I would like to confirm we've never had any issues personally and get along with both neighbours.
Our house is within 2km of Millbrook winery, there are three gorgeous cafes, and a small pub.
There are many walks in the local area and the national park.
The garage won't be available to use but there is a huge area for parking and a gate to the property to secure your vehicle.
If you are travelling with a caravan there is also plenty of parking space, including driving down into the backyard if you wish.
We just ask for someone or a couple that are happy to look after my fur baby and top up the plants. It's a lovely place to relax and site see. The night sky is gorgeous and I hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do.
Happy to have a day layover to introduce and show you around prior to our departure and upon arrival if needed.
Thanks for reading the above noval.
Happy house hunting, Ash Brendon and Ollie. Read more...
