Peaceful Retreat in the Wicklow Mountains, Ireland

I'm looking for someone to look after my B&B business, walk the dogs and feed the chickens whilst I go on holiday. Compensation available. Your own transport is required for this as it is 10 minutes drive to the nearest village, 30 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket. I live on a 3 acre smallholding in the middle of the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. I have 7 chickens and 2 dogs. I grow a wide variety of vegetables in raised beds and also in the polytunnel. There is NO mobile phone coverage here but I do have excellent internet (Starlink) which allows for WiFi calling but not SMS text messaging, dependent on your network. Although it is very remote here, it does have its bonuses, e.g., dark skies so stargazing is amazing! Lots of wildlife to see as well. My B&B mainly caters for hikers walking the Wicklow Way, so they would normally only stay for one night. I'm looking for someone (or a couple) to run the B&B from Sunday 24 May to Friday 12 June 2026 (19 nights). As I am so remote I also provide a 3-course dinner and/or packed lunch (upon pre-booked request) for the hikers. So I need someone who is confident in cooking. I have two rooms available for the B&B. Throughout the above dates I have one room booked covering 9 nights, and the second room booked for 4 of those 9 nights. However, these bookings are still to be confirmed so they might reduce but will not increase as I will NOT be taking any more bookings over this period. I look forward to speaking with you so we can discuss this and compensation in more detail. I'm also looking for a house sitter, no B&B duties, for 22 to 29 September 2026.

Looking after my two dogs and my hens. Feeding the dogs and taking them for walks. Feeding the hens, cleaning out hen coop, collecting (and eating!) the eggs. Watering seedlings in polytunnel. Looking after the B&B guests for the May/June dates only.
