House Sitting with Birds

Bird sits range from a single budgie to large aviaries with multiple species. Care usually involves daily feeding, fresh water, cage cleaning, and ensuring the right temperature and lighting. Some birds — particularly parrots and cockatoos — are highly social and need conversation and out-of-cage time. Sitters comfortable with birds often find the role rewarding and less physically demanding than dog or farm sits.
