Mount Egerton, Victoria

Our house is 3 bedrooms (2 are home offices), 2 toilets and 1 bathroom, combined kitchen, dining, lounge on 1.25 acres of native and ornamental gardens. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat and 4 chickens that need to be looked after for when we go away for any period of time. The photo of the dogs reflects them well. Piper in the background is a lot more cautious whilst Brax in the front is a lot more curious. They are both 6 year old border collie rescues and we have had Piper for 5 years and Brax for just one year. They are both on twice daily meds and need routine. They are actually low energy for border collies and spend a lot of time on the couch sleeping and accepting cuddles! Our 4 hens are free ranging and aged 10 and 4. Holly, one of the 10 year olds receives a daily anti-inflammatory by beak which we are hoping someone will be comfortable doing once shown how it's done. Our garden is also home to several brush tail possums, magpies, kookaburras, wrens, finches, yellow tailed black cockatoos, frogs, rosella's etc. which we encourage and protect.
