Tolmans Hill, Tasmania

Our home is a private, modern property in Tolmans Hill with stunning views across Hobart, the River Derwent and Kunanyi / Mount Wellington. The house backs directly onto reserve land, with walking tracks accessible from the back gate and abundant native wildlife including wallabies, pademelons, bandicoots and native birds. We're just a 5-minute drive from Hobart CBD and close to local beaches and amenities.

We are looking for a responsible individual or couple who will enjoy the peaceful setting and care for our home while we're away. The main responsibilities include caring for our friendly 9-year-old chicken, watering the vegetable gardens and pot plants, and undertaking very basic outdoor maintenance as needed.

As this is our private family home, we ask that sitters respect the property and our neighbours. Following a previous experience, we request that no parties be held and that any additional guests be discussed with us in advance. We're happy to discuss reasonable arrangements with prospective sitters.

This sit would suit nature lovers looking for a quiet, comfortable base close to Hobart, with beautiful views, abundant wildlife and excellent walking opportunities right on the doorstep.
