Wahroonga, New South Wales

Home in Wahroonga near the SAN Hospital. We are looking for someone who can stay and look after our 9 year old golden retriever, Millie, over the Christmas/new year period. At this stage we are slightly flexible with start and finish dates and can chat about timing on a zoom call or local meet up.

Millie needs daily walks and cuddles and we would prefer someone who is home quite a bit as she is mainly inside dog and is used to us being around home. Lovely nature and does have an early morning (5.30am) and evening meal.

There are 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and lounge (smart tv), dining room all on one level from street entry. Lovely views across the national park and lights at night. Downstairs has another lounge area (with smart tv) and bathroom. There are also 2 bedrooms downstairs but prefer these are not used. Split system air con in bedrooms and main lounge room. Ceiling fans also in lounge/dining and upstairs bedrooms.

Laundry is downstairs and accessible from back or the kitchen steps. Front loader and clothes dryer available to use as well as the hills hoist.
Big yard and smaller area is fenced for Millie. Off-street parking in driveway.

Flat land and close to Fox Valley shops (bakery, cafes, iga, pharmacy etc). Short walk bus stops to Turramurra station (573 route) and Hornsby Station (589 route). Thornleigh Marketplace 2km away for and Hornsby Westfield or Macquarie Centre under 15 mins drive.

Easy access to national park walking trails. Only 200m to Beltana Trail walking tracks.
Beautiful northern beaches are only 35 mins drive away. Read more...
