About This House Sit
We live in a 2 storey brick veneer house on 1.5 acres, fully fenced, with gum trees, deciduous trees and shrubs, located 8km from Maitland and approximately 40km from both Newcastle and the Hunter Valley vineyards.
Your main role would be to care for and provide companionship for our 11-year-old Border Collie (Lucy) whose daily routine includes breakfast at 6am and dinner at 6pm. She sleeps inside at night and spends the days wandering around our large yard and sleeping, usually quite close to where we happen to be.
Some watering of deciduous trees and shrubs may be needed but the yard should not need mowing at this time.
