Morisset, New South Wales

We are seeking a reliable house sitter to keep Romy, our 6 year old male Cavoodle, company while we are away. Whilst this is our first time arranging a house sitter in our home, we have done a number of house sits in recent years.

Our low set house is 3 years old and is in a quiet street with friendly neighbours. There is a pergola with a gas BBQ & small enclosed yard at the rear of our house. Parking for one car will be available in our driveway. We are located 1.2 km from Coles, Woolworths and café’s, 3 km from the M1 and a short drive to many enjoyable areas around Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley. There will be a desk & office chair in the large bedroom which may be suitable for someone working remotely.

Romy is friendly, well behaved, loves company & cuddles and sleeps in his crate. Because we are retired, Romy is used to us being at home most of the day, however he can be left inside the house for up to 4 hours if he is given his special treats as you are leaving.

Romy is fed morning and evening and loves to go for a walk. He travels very well in the car so you may like to take him with you when you go exploring to dog friendly areas. We also ask that our pot plants are watered every couple of days during the stay.

We would like our prospective sitter to be a non-smoker & have references. Ideally, we would like a face-to-face meet and greet if this can be arranged. Read more...
