Holiday care for our house & 2 Chinese geese

We would appreciate it if housesitters would housesit for us from Tuesday 13th October to Thursday 5th November 2026 We are looking, preferably, for a non smoking couple to care for our two Chinese geese and our house. The sitters will have responsibility for feeding the geese twice daily, letting them out in the morning, cleaning out the goose house & renewing the wood shavings. In the late afternoon/early evening emptying, cleaning and refilling the goose pond and water buckets using a hose pipe, then cleaning up after the geese in the garden. The geese need to be guided into their house in the evening before the light fades and locked up for the night. In the morning the house sitters may expect to spend approximately 30 mins and in the evening approximately 45mins in the care of our geese. We live in a 17th Century listed sandstone cottage in Halton Village, Cheshire close to M56 & M6 motorways. Shopping, supermarkets and a bus interchange is 10 mins walk away (5 mins drive). The main line train station (London to Liverpool West Coast line) is approximately 2 miles away. Liverpool is 17 miles away, Manchester 30, Chester 16 and Warrington 7. There are many tourist attractions close by within driving distance. There is a large park less than 5 mins walk away. The housesitters do not need experience caring for our geese as I will show them everything that is required before we leave. We have an information pack for the care of our house and geese while we are away, which can be emailed in advance if requested. No, sorry.
