10 days in Septemberon the BC Coast

The most important qualification I'm looking for is that you be a cat lover. :) Of course responsible, neat, and honest are right up there as well! And please, non-smokers only. This is a really easy housesit. Just give the cat food and water daily. She has a cat door, so there's no kitty litter. Bring in the mail, water the indoor plants weekly, and that's it. You can spend your time exploring and enjoying the area. We have a cute 2 bedroom house with a lovely ocean view, walking distance from the Seawalk, downtown, and forested trails. Powell River has a mild climate and is a gorgeous area brimming with wonderful outdoor activities. If you like to hike, kayak, bike, snowshoe, scuba dive, rock climb, or more, you would love it here! It's about 160 km north of Vancouver on the Sunshine Coast, and a ferry ride across to Vancouver Island. There's a lot to do and a lot going on in Powell River.The weather is good year-round for outdoor activities. As well, there are many superb restaurants, a heritage theatre showing the latest movies, a state-of-the-art Recreation Complex, and much more.
