My name is Geraint and I am a writer and my wife Emma, is an artist and we live in a beautiful old farmhouse half way up a hill at the edge of the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons. We are looking for a sitter whilst we are in Mexico. The pet care at the house will be just the 2 dogs (who ideally would get a daily walk), 2 cats and 10 chickens (which will involve essentially feeding, letting the chickens in/out of the coop and some mucking out of the chicken coop).

The house sits within 7 acres of land that includes an organic fruit/veg patch and a small greenhouse so some gardening experience would definitely be a plus !! We also have a wildflower meadow, a shepherds hut, a huge fire pit and a back garden terrace with a BBQ and a superlative view of the Hatterral Ridge and Hay Bluff. The house has central heating, wifi and all the usual mod cons (dishwasher, washing machine, TV/Netflix, Wifi etc). There are stunning views from all around the property and the historic market town of Abergavenny ('The Food Capital of Wales') is just five miles away.
