Irish seaside home in the land of Celtic magic

We live in northwest Donegal, in probably the most authentic part of Ireland, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and a rich heritage of music. As travel writer and photographer, we often have to be away from our two beloved dogs, Lugh and Einstein, and are looking for dog lovers who would like to spend time with them.

Our single-storey home is nestled near a mountain overlooking the sea in an area known as Gaoth Dobhair in northwestern Ireland. A good road leads to a chain of charming seaside towns including Bunbeg, Gortahork and Falcarragh, all within a leisurely 25-minute drive along the coast. One bedroom is available to sitters (with comfortable double bed) with a mountain and garden view. Our home also has a large, modern, fully-equipped kitchen, sitting-room and an extended living room, a dining area with large bay-windows granting excellent views over the Ocean and the islands. For a more romantic atmosphere we have a wood-fired stove in the kitchen and open-fireside in the living room.
