Sitters needed for a lively cocker spaniel in Northumberland

We are looking for a couple who are honest, reliable and trustworthy and who love dogs and like walking! We have Jett, a cocker spaniel who will be 2 in June 2025. Jett is very lively and friendly. She loves long walks and is well behaved off the lead, where it is safe and there are no livestock. She is training to be a gundog and is trained to the whistle and loves hunting for balls. Day to day care of Jett, including long walks, and general care of the house and garden. There are raised vegetable beds which may need watering. We live in a 2 bedroom bungalow in a small village, Kirkwhelpington, in Northumberland. There is a large south-west facing back garden with wonderful views of the countryside. Newcastle upon Tyne is 25 miles away, and there is a small town, Ponteland, with pubs and restaurants 13 miles away. There are also local villages with good pubs which serve food. There are no shops, pubs or restaurants in our village. Newcastle International Airport is 15 miles away. Northumberland is a beautiful location, with wonderful beaches, historic sites and friendly people! Due to the rural location and extremely limited public transport, the house sitters would need to have a car. Retired couples are preferred. Some gardening may be requested, for example grass cutting, however a sit on lawn mower is provided. No, sorry.
