Shotts, Scotland

My home is an idyllic cottage (end terraced) on a quiet backroad to Shotts with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer and an open fire. There is parking directly in front of the house. It has a secure garden and good country/woodland walks nearby.

There is a train station (Hartwood), just 0.4 miles from the house, serving the Glasgow to Edinburgh route. There is an hourly bus service to the local towns. Shotts has many take-aways, chemist, post office and Newmains has an ASDA supermarket & the usual conveniences.

I require a trustworthy house-sitter to look after my plants and dogs while I travel.

I travel for long periods (three to six months at a time). Please only enquire if you are a solo sitter as I have a large single ved plus a long comfy couch you can sleep on. References WILL be required.
