House sitter(s) required for Home and Cat sit - Christmas 2026, Bromley, London, UK

Hi - We are a family of 4 who are heading off for a big trip this Christmas and New Year and are looking for someone or two to house sit and look after our collection of 6 cats. Looking for all the usual qualities - reliable, responsible, trustworthy, tidy etc and nice to our neighbours. The cats are well behaved (mostly) friendly and have access to outdoors. Being familiar with cats and thus prepared to deal with the possible odd dead thing would be advantageous! We have had house sitters for many years now so know the ropes. Fast broadband if you need to work from home and subscription TV channels. Feeding pets. Cats have a catflap so come and go and require feeding twice a day and attention/affection upon request. One requires daily medication which goes in his breakfast Collection of indoor plants to water once a week, otherwise it's just plain house sitting! A large 5 bedroom house with lovely garden and parking on drive if you have a car(s). Sitters would have the top floor guest suite inc large bathroom. Bromley is an outer London borough which means it's nice and green with good transport links. Our house is situated 10 minutes walk into town, 2 minutes from local shops, cafes and take-away and is 7 mins walk from the railway station with 4 trains an hour into central London (25 mins). Alternatively 15 mins from the M25 and an hour to the Kent Coast or Sussex makes this an ideal base for exploring with all the comforts of home. We would need you to arrive from Friday 18th December and stay until Tuesday 12th January and you are welcome to arrive early/depart later to fit your dates. You will need to be a non smoker and experienced house sitters (with references) preferred. We can provide testimonials from our previous House sitters if you require these. No, sorry.
