House and dog sitter - Skipton, North Yorkshire

Hi. Our family dogs, Loki and Brooke, like their home comforts. We are likely to be away from 28/11/26 to 1/12/26 (a long weekend). We are looking for someone to look after them in our family home in Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. Someone else is looking after them from 25/11/26 so it is merely turning up and taking over until I get back late on 30/11/26. Other than feeding the dogs and taking them for walks, that's all. There would be just typical tasks of your own home: tidying up and putting out the rubbish, some plants to be watered etc. The house is a large detached property in the town of Skipton in North Yorkshire. It has a large garden which is completely fenced in for the dogs and is in a quiet cul de sac within minutes walk of a large park and also the town centre. Potentially there is a car to use, though some of our overseas house sitters have found getting UK insurance difficult. Not having a car might be a bit limiting, but there is still plenty to do within walking distance of the house, if you like the outdoors. Additionally, there is a reasonable bus service and local trains nearby. We are 20 minutes country walk from the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The dogs are the main thing. Loki is a 7 year old whippet and Brooke is a 6 year old whippet . Their food routine is simple. They have 2-3 walks a day and love to go sniffing around in the park and along the many footpaths and the canal towpath. Loki is very particular about whether he wants to go out or not. Brooke does not care! She is always ready for action! That said, they both spend most of the day sleeping! Yes Restrictions: Both get on very well with other easy going dogs.
