New Year 2026/27 break in London

We are have lived in Twickenham, South West London and the home of England Rugby for the last 30 years. Sora, our delightful cairn terrier/poodle cross joined us 5 years ago. Both our sons have now moved out and we are looking to spend time with them and their friends. Théo our eldest lives in Canada which makes it a little difficult for Sora to join us, although she'd undoubtedly be a hit on the plane.

Our home is in Strawberry Hill, a charming part of Twickenham, South West London. It is ＜5 minute walk to the River Thames and to the local train station which takes you direct into London Waterloo. Local tourist sites like Marble Hill, Ham House and Bushy Park are within 15 minutes walk. Hampton Court Palace, the famous home of Henry VIII is a delightful hours walk along the Thames path, heading upstream. The world-renowned Kew Gardens is an equally delightful hours walk downstream. All the sites of Central London are available within 70minutes by public transport.
