13 - 22 Sept Dogsit in Bracknell BERKS UK - 1 dog

I'm a single woman in my late 50s, working from home in Berkshire publishing a community magazine I established 16 years ago.

I have a gorgeous elderly Miniature Schnauzer, Basil, who is very easy to look after as long as his diet and medications are managed properly. He has problems with his hind legs but still loves his morning walk - about half an hour off lead in the nearby meadows / woods - and another short lead walk around the block in the evening.

Link detached house in Jennett's Park, an attractive and quiet estate established over a decade ago just outside Bracknell and within easy reach of Wokingham and Reading.

The house is on a quiet street of just 5 houses, with its own driveway for parking. A back gate leads into a private garden with a wooden bench positioned to catch the morning sun.

Accommodation is provided in the guest room offering kingsize bed, wardrobe and drawer space and bathroom opposite (bath and shower over).

The property has decent WiFi, TV and piano in the living room, radio in the kitchen diner, and a bluetooth speaker that can be moved around the house. The kitchen is fitted with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge freezer, plus a wachine machine inside a laundry cupboard.

Jennett's Park includes lots of green spaces, a Coop with long opening hours and a cashpoint, and a fabulous independent cafe, all within a few minutes' walk of the house.

Bracknell was completely redeveloped a few years ago creating a modern pedestrianised town centre, which even boasts a Fenwicks!

Wokingham is a historic market town with plenty of charm and independent shops. Trains to London (Waterloo) are faster from Wokingham than from Bracknell.

The larger town of Reading a few miles further away offers extensive shopping, including John Lewis, and fast trains into and across London via Paddington.
