Christmas and New Year in Kent – Three Lovely Cats and Woodland Walks

I’m looking for someone or a couple to look after my three lovely cats while I’m away visiting family in Australia over Christmas and New Year.

My home is in a quiet part of Tonbridge, at the end of a residential street with no through traffic. It’s a bright, comfortable house with an open-plan kitchen and dining area that leads out onto a large deck and garden, backing onto woodland and a little stream. There are some lovely walks straight from the house, which is one of the things I really like about living here.

The house will be decorated for Christmas, so you’ll have a Christmas tree and a cosy and comfortable place to spend the festive season.

The bedroom overlooks the garden and has a very comfortable king size bed, with an electric blanket to keep you extra snug.

There’s fast Wi-Fi, a utility room, a well-equipped kitchen and free on-street parking. Local shops and takeaways are about a five-minute walk away.

Tonbridge is a great base for exploring Kent. There are loads of lovely country pubs, pretty villages, castles, gardens and places to visit, as well as some beautiful countryside and coastal areas. London is also an easy day trip by train, with both Tonbridge and Hildenborough stations a short drive or bus ride away (free parking at Hildenborough).

And of course, you’ll have Harry, Charlie and Lily to keep you company! They’re my three much-loved cats, and I’m hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys being around cats and will give them plenty of love and attention while I’m away.
