Central Portugal country house with 2 dogs, 2 cats and chickens

We are looking for a mature responsible person or couple to take care of our home and small holding and animals. Many of the systems in our house have been home built and therefore need someone who is practically minded to manage them. Our start date is slightly flexible if you want to arrive a couple of days before. Our animals are our priority. We have two young energetic medium sized dogs who need daily feeding and walks. The one cat, who thinks she is a dog, will often join in on these walks. The other cat is 90% blind but gets around just fine. We also have a few chickens who need daily care, but are usually easy and no bother. Our house is set on 5 acres of land which consists of terraces and open fields, and also have a vegetable garden. Not a lot attention is needed to the grounds, but it would be great to have someone who likes gardening and doing a bit of land maintenance. The house itself is an old stone build which has been modernised and has mains electricity and hot water from solar or a backboiler on the wood burner. Daily house care would be required. Our home is situated in a tranquil, rural setting with little to no light pollution, and has stunning views.. All this but it only a 5 minute walk to the nearest village where there are two cafes a small grocery store and a post office. We have good WiFi in the house. Because of the rural location it is really essential to have a vehicle. Winters can be wet and quite cold. A love of outdoors and nature is a must. We have 3 dates advertised. If someone wanted to house sit all 3 dates or 2 of them then we do have a cottage on the property for them to stay in the weeks in between when we return home. No, sorry.
